The Oasis Partnership Chesham

Along with a regular timetable of activities, special events will be run throughout the year to promote health and wellbeing in addition to the long term service provision, One Recovery Bucks, at our Lewins Yard premises.

In addition to our timetable of groups,  we also offer Routes to Work, Social Prescribing, Media Launchpad and Friends2Gether services from our Chesham premises.

In 2020 we were extremely fortunate to have been loaned the Bagnall Project building in Waterside, Chesham, for a period of 3 years, by the very generous Joanna Hill. This opportunity allowed us to accelerate our mission with our revised charity objectives, enabling us to test and pilot new and innovate projects, adding value to our existing recovery network and community services in the town. In September 2023, we relocated from the Bagnall Building to our long term, permanent premises, right in the heart of the town centre.

All of the activities on offer are free of charge, unless otherwise stated, and are designed to be accessible to anyone in Buckinghamshire to attend including our One Recovery Bucks service users.

If there is a group you would like to attend that is not currently available do get in touch to discuss your ideas with us.

#TransformationalTuesdays - a pilot project supporting people linked to The Rough Sleepers Initiative using music, food and hope to make a difference.

The Bagnall Project was a perfect location to run a wide range of projects from within the same building. We wanted to devote a full day to support RSI clients, helping us to develop engaging recovery focussed support, and ran an 8 week pilot project, calling it Transformational Tuesdays.

20 individuals participated, each attending on average 4 sessions. It was fun and the feedback we received was great. In an ideal world it would be perfect if a resource like the Bagnall was available to all homeless people and formed a main part of treatment system service delivery. Although we no longer have the Bagnall, our plans to scale up what we have learnt from our Chesham services will begin in 2024. The Transformational Tuesdays pilot helped set out our plans for the future, where we plan to utilise our cafes as recovery network hubs.
