Job Summary |
To support the Building Futures Project part of the Oasis Routes to Work Project. Focussing on specific areas throughout Bucks, particularly areas experiencing social and economically issues Aylesbury, Chesham and High Wycombe. This role supports people to gain employment, start an education or training course, gain volunteering or work experience through 1:1 and group activity. We can be very flexible with hours of work ( minimum 12 hours/week) and we are particularly keen to reach out and employ people wanting a part-time or full-time job and also living in the areas we aim to support.
These roles are a great introduction into a career in health and social care. The flexible part-time opportunity enables study or childcare to take place around your work hours. The contract we run has set targets and these can be achieved by us employing part time workers living in the areas we are focussing on. |

Technical / Professional Skills, Expertise and Qualifications
· Ability to ensure the project delivers against agreed objectives and targets. · Experience of promoting and developing employability or related programmes and opportunities · Experience of case management, action planning & target setting · Able to develop effective working relationships in a variety of settings. · Understanding of confidentiality as it pertains to vulnerable people. · Knowledge and understanding of barriers facing job seekers. · Ability to communicate with a wide range of people, staff and volunteers, both verbally and in writing, with evidence of literacy and numeracy skills to support this. · Understanding of safeguarding legislation and practice. · Awareness of Health and Safety, risk assessments and professional boundaries. · Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative. · Adaptability in a challenging and changeable environment. |

Technical / Professional Skills, Expertise and Qualifications
· IT skills including Microsoft office packages with experience of using a client relationship management system an advantage. · Able to evidence how you deliver a range of services in a person-centred, non-judgmental manner. · Able to demonstrate flexibility and creativity when developing support packages. · Keen to engage in regular supervision. · Undertake any other duty relevant to the role as directed by the manager. · Demonstrate commitment to evidence-based practice and maintaining currency in knowledge and understanding of support approaches, the local labour market and recruitment practice. · Commitment to equal opportunities and confidentiality policies and to anti-discriminatory practice. · Able to travel to various locations consistent with the service and participant need. |
