This is our most successful project as we are able to employ staff that can offer support in a way that is not available elsewhere. Working with individuals supporting them to overcome issues that impact on them achieving their goals. This includes debt and benefit advice, housing support, advice, information and guidance in relation to ETEV opportunities. As at December 2018, staff employed on this project include a project manager and 3 full time equivalent support workers, with on average 130 hours volunteer placements each week.
We are fortunate to have been able to develop two recovery cafes based within the One Recovery Bucks services in Aylesbury and Wycombe. There are a lot of opportunities within the cafe environment to engage service users in the recovery network. The cafe model has a lot of potential to really help people make changes in their lives.
