If anyone had asked us what would be our dream opportunity for 2022 – well this is it. Our CEO Colin had a vision of what we wanted to add to our menu of opportunities – an ideal outdoor space… collaborating with Camilla and her pet rescue centre and farm is just perfect. It will give us opportunities to engage people at our Chesham base, the Bagnall and also (hopefully) we can get a group of service users from One Recovery Bucks involved. This is such a lovely site with a great feel to it.
Colin said “this is an ideal site to get people out and doing new and different things, over time there will be so many opportunities here that can offer support to a lot of individuals and different groups in society. What is also really lovely is that Camilla is 12 years sober, having been through Oasis services years ago. I am very excited to be able to support Camilla in her new venture. “
We plan to initially run a session there as part of our weekly #TransformationalTuesdays Recovery Festival based at the Bagnall in Chesham and will develop other sessions over time. This is an ideal place for a One Recovery Bucks Recovery Network session as well. Transport is available from the Bagnall with the minibus leaving after lunch at 2.
