Buckinghamshire Council has been awarded funding from the Department for Education to deliver a Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme in 2021, as part of a national scheme. The aim of the programme is to support the physical and mental health and wellbeing of children and young people, encouraging them to engage in interactive and fun activities and provide them with access to a healthy hot meal.
The Oasis Partnership is pleased to have been selected as one of the HAF Christmas activity providers this December. Our Christmas programme was be held at The Bagnall Project in Chesham. We provided four days of fun and engaging activities, for children aged 7 to 11 years old, from 20 to 23 December 2021 giving children the chance to try out arts and crafts, baking, dance, music, and tech sessions.
Each day children were provided with a hot, healthy lunch between 12 midday and 1pm.
The programme has now ended and we look forward to doing more such activities in the new year.
