Job Title: Routes to Work (RTW) Project Worker  Accountable To: RTW Manager
Base: Aylesbury or Chesham  Hours: 37.5 per week
Working Pattern: This role may include evening, weekend & bank holiday working.  Pay Range:  £21,402.81 – £23,484.41 p.a.    
Job Summary 
To work as part of the Oasis Routes to Work Project from our Chesham or Aylesbury office covering both the Aylesbury & Chesham area. Routes to Work support people to gain employment, start an education or training course, volunteering or gain a work experience placement.  
Essential Qualifications required
An appropriate qualification in a relevant field, or experience  
Skills, knowledge, experience & education
– Promotion and development of personal, social and educational programmes and opportunities  
– Experience of supporting people face to face in the running of projects or development of new initiatives in a variety of settings
– Experience of case management, action planning & target setting
– Able to develop effective working relationships in a variety of settings
– Understanding of confidentiality as it pertains to vulnerable people
– Knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting people’s lives
– The ability to communicate with a wide range of people, staff and volunteers, both verbally and in writing
– An understanding of safeguarding and child protection legislation and practice
– Awareness of H&S, risk assessments and a good understanding of professional boundaries
– Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
– IT skills including Microsoft office packages

Duties and Responsibilities
– Work in partnership with external services to deliver day to day support and advice
– Contributing to case management for people attending the service
– Work in partnership with a number of key local organisations and employers to build up strong local networks  
– Actively engage and encourage clients to fulfil their potential
– To ensure safeguarding of vulnerable people using the service
– To work closely with the team and partner agencies who deliver employment, training and educational support
– Meeting targets and reporting back to management on a monthly basis
– To undertake training and other developmental activities as required
– To operate within Oasis policies and procedures
– To ensure that the work reflects the organisation’s commitment to Inclusion, Equality & Diversity
– To maintain a team work approach to all aspects of the work
